About

For more than half her life, St. Louis-based musician Morgan Nusbaum has been what she calls a "closet singer/songwriter." Nusbaum got an early start playing in rock and pop-punk bands, but her penchant for laying down tough, solid bass lines belied her more expressive side. With the encouragement of a friend (and Bruiser Queen drummer Jason Potter) Nusbaum began to play solo acoustic shows, and quickly found her audience.

Those who appreciate honest, from-the-heart lyrics combined with smart, subtle melodies find their match in Nusbaum's acoustic works. Her debut solo album, Let It In, presents raw emotion with melancholic guitar and a howl so powerful you'll forget she's sharing her innermost secrets.
